I adopt out hand-tame friendly gerbils for pets and show. :) Please be prepared to read up on gerbil care, I always want my gerbils to go to responsible homes. :) Write me with questions if you need help deciding whether a gerbil is the pet for you.

Soft Reserves List for Gerbil Pups

If you are interested in adopting gerbil babies from current or upcoming litters send me an e-mail to be put on a "Soft Reserves" list. Those on the Soft Reserves list get choice of pups (in pairs), in the order of contact. The reserves are called "soft" since they are word-of-mouth and I do not require payment until pickup. Pups are ready to go at 6 wks of age. GL has the right to hold-back any babies for projects or breeding, before Reservers select pups. Exceptions made for AGS breeders or "particular" people...like relatives. 0_o Lol.

Holds

For gerbils "ready to go" I can hold them up to 5 days until adopter is able to pickup. Any hold past 5 days requires payment in advance. This also applies to pups that are "ready to go"...i.e. if you soft-reserved a pup pair but need me to hold them past 6 wks (and 5 days lol), then I need payment in advance (at the 6 wk point).

» I only adopt out breeding gerbils to AGS reg. breeders or to responsible individuals whom I know personally.
» Gerbils are re-homed in same sex pairs, $12 adoption fee for a pair.
» Single gerbils ($6 for a single) re-homed only to those who have another gerbil (same sex) to pair the adopted with. See Care, Introducing New Gerbils if wanting to adopt a single gerbil. You must have knowledge of the split-cage method of introduction to adopt a single gerbil.
» New gerbil owners are advised to read up on gerbil care to be sure you are ready to bring home your new pet! Please see Care page and check out some of the links listed for in depth information.
