I love the shades one can get when "ef" in single form is in the mix! See some pics and notes below from my breeding.
First, a schimmel! Pretty girl :D Creamy colored body, orange tail.
This one is aa Cc(chm)/c(h) efef Uwuw(d) Pp :)
GL's SB's Jelly Crème
Here's a crazy cool example of the vibrant tail...this is when she was younger, plus lighting really highlights the orange.
And here's a champagne (spotted schimmel)... He's A* C* efef Uw* Pp Sp+
8 1/2 wk old nutties, mid-molt
"ee" nutmeg (left) next to "eef" nutmeg sister
eef nutty face...VERY soft ticks
ee nutty face...probably light from recessives like c(chm) or c(h) but still fairly dark compared to eef sister
Same girls, grown up, 3 1/2 months...First, eef nutmeg. Second, ee nutmeg, probably with Cc(chm) or c(h).
Last, for comparison, their mom...dark-ticked ee nutmeg with recessives.
» Brioche, Light Dark-Eyed Honey with ef, A* Cc(chm)/c(h) eef Uw* P*
Here's a "light", carrying c(chm) or c(h), dark-eyed honey, also with single "ef"... Compare to CC DEH below...
» Muffins, CC Dark-Eyed Honey with ef, A* CC eef Uw* P*
CC dark-eyed honey, with single "ef"...washed out ticks but still a nice orange at almost a yr and a half old
» Giselle, Honey Cream with ef, A* C* eef Uw* P* Sp+
This is a beautiful color! Looks like a champagne but doesn't lose all the body markings. Has a real pretty, "creamy" color like a schimmel body or champagne. Look close in pics to see the soft peachy highlights on back and tail. This girl is about 1 yr and 4 months.
» Mango, Light Yellow Fox with ef, A* Cc(chm)/c(h) eef Uw* pp
Another type that gets a gorgeous hue from the combined lightening effects of c(chm)/c(h) and ef plus p. :D Soft, pastel color, really lovely in person.
» Polar Fox with ef, Aa Cc(chm) eef uw(d)uw(d) P*
Pretty polar fox girl, with single ef reducing ticks. Also had c(chm) from pied burmese mom.
» GL's Coconut, Sp. Polar Fox with ef, AA Cc(h) eef uw(d)uw(d) P* Sp+
Basically a black-eyed white, slight color to tail...more of a faint "ticking" as he got older, see 2nd pic :)
» GL's Track Ocean, Colorpoint Nutmeg with ef, aa c(chm)c(chm) eef Uwuw(d) Pp
One of my favorite eef colors. :) Got points around normal molt time, though they were light. Compared to normal CPN, biggest difference is ticking. Nice and soft with ef influence. Lighter points. Dark, CPN nails.
» GL's Tahiti, Light Colorpoint Nutmeg with ef, aa c(chm)c(h) eef Uwuw(d) Pp
One of my other favorite eef colors. :) Black-eyed white pup. Got points closer to 3 months. Soft silvery tail and nose. Lot lighter than eef CPN but still with pigmented LCPN nails. Could show in AGS as silver-point except for nail color. :D
» Winter, Light Colorpoint Silver Nutmeg with ef, aa c(chm)c(h) eef uw(d)uw(d) P*
This girl was not bred so genotype is a guess...though I'd say good chance to be accurate, based on littermates, parents' genes, and comparison to other eef colors. :) She looked completely BEW for length of time, but did develop VERY light silver points and has clear nails.
» GL's BWC's Neko, Siamese with ef, aa c(chm)c(h) Eef Uwuw(d) Pp
Here's a siamese carrying an "ef" recessive from her champagne mom. Doesn't seem to effect the siamese color too much. Her color has been pretty stable while I've had her, and she has dark black nails.
